Because it uses standard gliders, it’s compatible with traditional pleated curtain styles that attach via curtain hooks.

Yes – Triple Pleat Curtains Are Compatible

Triple pleat curtains (sometimes called French pleat) work perfectly with the Silent Gliss 6243.

This is because triple pleat headings use hooks that attach directly into the gliders supplied with the track. There’s no need for specialist carriers or wave accessories.

If you’re choosing between pleated styles, the following are all suitable:

Triple pleat
Double pleat
Pinch pleat
Pencil pleat
All of these sit within the “pleated” category and are compatible with standard gliders.

What Won’t Work: Wave Curtains

If you were wondering whether this track can be used for wave curtains — the answer is no.

Wave curtains require:

  • A wave-specific track
  • Corded or spacing carriers
  • A different glider configuration

The Silent Gliss 6243 is not supplied as a wave system, so standard triple pleat or pencil pleat options are the correct choice.
