Silent Gliss 7650 - 50mm Electric Curtain Pole - Radio Remote Operation
The Silent Gliss 7650RR Electrically operated curtain pole is a remote controlled 50mm diameter curtain pole which can be operated using a switch or a hand held remote. Designed to look like a pole but work with the efficiency of an electric track the 7650RR is excellent for combining the smooth operation of a track with the look of a pole and the touch of luxury of being able to operate the curtains by remote hand held control. This system will also allow you to operate up to three 7650 electric poles from one hand held control. You can operate the set of curtains either individually or all together with the press of a button. The Radio Remote 7650 Metropole electric pole can have a timer added to upgrade the system to a 7650TC at any point after the initial installation.
The 7650 range replaces the Silent Gliss 6150 range.

The 7650 Electric Curtain Pole is a 50mm Metropolitan pole with a 5100 Autoglide track fitted inside. This means that it operates the same as the 5100 Radio Remote Autoglide and looks like the 50mm Metropole including being available in all seven colours. The Radio Remote system works by either using the switch or the remote control provided. This product is ideal for top fixing or face fixing and comes standard with either a flush fitting top fix bracket or the adjustable 0334 Maxi face fix bracket. Unfortunately this product is not suitable for bay windows. The 7650 Silent Gliss Electric Metropole is a belt driven pole, this means that it is has a rubber belt with teeth inside the track that is directly powered by a motor that then drives the track and makes the curtain open and close. This is the best way for an electric system to work as having a separate motor detached from the track that drives the cords of the track results in the motor slipping and the cord snapping. We can also make the same system but using more advanced and stronger curtain tracks. These take the Silent Gliss 5600 systems and integrate them into the 50mm Metropole. These systems can be used with integrated radio or home entertainment systems and can carry up to 65kg of weight.
